Tim
Cozzens is principal of workshop/Cozzens, Inc. Begun in 1993,
the studio designs and fabricates custom furniture, fixtures
and equipment for a variety of residential, commercial and
retail clients. We have the capacity to produce one-of-a-kind
furniture pieces as well as limited production.
Cozzens
has an MFA (1991) in Woodworking and Furniture Design from
the School for American Crafts at Rochester Institute of Technology
(NY) and a BFA (1982) in Interior Architecture from Northern
Illinois University in Dekalb. Presently on the Art + Design
Faculty of Columbia College Chicago. Prior teaching appointments
include The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Penland
School (NC), University of Notre Dame & Northern Illinois
University. Board Member of CFDA, member of The Furniture
Society.
