Tuesday, June 14-Where to you go to get your design ideas? Jeff Miller, Erik Newman and some unspecified third person will talk about where they seek inspiration and ideas for their designs. Coming from a craft background I have fallen into a bit of a rut in the way I seek and develop my ideas, so I want to see what else is out there. This will be a rare chance to look over the fence and do design voyeurism! Of course this will be an audience participation event, so it will be good for exhibitionists as well.

Tuesday, July 12-Carl Boyd on work at Normal Design. There's nothing normal about Normal Design. Carl and his partner Liam Hawry focus on the use of recycled and recyclable plastics and other materials in designs intended for large scale production. This presentation will offer a unique opportunity to visit a region of the design world that is remote from the activities of most CFDA members. Hopefully Liam will be able to join us as well.
