Members of the Chicago Furniture Design Association transform the notion of furniture as a utilitarian functional object to furniture as an expression of architecture. Architectural and structural icons are whimsically interpreted and misinterpretreted; their scale and form is inspired for uncommon everyday furniture, bringing the complex to a simpler form.
