CODE OF ETHICS

| 1. A member is
obligated to maintain and uphold the integrity of the association
in their personal and professional conduct. |
| 2. A member shall
honestly represent their qualifications at all times and shall exhibit
only original works of their design at CFDA functions. |
| 3. A member shall
recognize and respect the professional standards of other CFDA members.
Derogatory remarks concerning other members are unacceptable in any
setting. |
| 4. No member
shall knowingly infringe on a client relationship of another member. |
| 5. Contracts
undertaken by members with their employees or assistants must be upheld
by other members. |
| 6. A member shall
not use their position in the association to gain purely personal
advantages in advertising or promotion. However a member is encouraged
to use the initials CFDA after their name on correspondence
and business related materials and announcements. |
| 7. A member shall
conduct themselves professionally and courteously when dealing with
personnel of show venues and with other organizations. Members shall
act as ambassadors of the CFDA at all times in show situations. |
| 8. No member
shall knowingly infringe on copyright designs or proprietary intellectual
work created by other designers, companies, or manufacturers. |
